  1. What is selflessness and does it truly exist? What immediately came to mind was the friend’s episode where Phoebe tries to do something selfless for others and Joey keeps finding ways in which it benefits her directly and in the end they decide. This episode was putting the theories of philosopher Immanuel Kant to test. In the end, do donors contribute to charities and organizations to just do so or is it because it gives them that warm fuzzy feeling? Either way, as long as they keep helping then they can keep feeling good about it.
